SOY ISOFLAVONES

 

 

 

Isoflavones are a link between nutrition and health, they act on several different grounds, especially as oestrogens, anti-oestrogens, tyrosine kinase enzyme inhibitor, antioxydants, immune system protectors, anti inflammatory...

TOURNAY BIOTECHNOLOGIES, 1st French producer of soy isoflavones, with more than 3 000 tons of soy utilised each year, proposes a complete range of isoflavones FLAVOGIN® that can be incorporated to your formulations in powder or liquid form.

FLAVOGIN® is a range of non GM soy extracts rich in isoflavones, and also in saponins and minerals, whose composition is similar to that of the soy seed extracted with water.

FLAVOGIN® 5 % - 10 % - 15 % - 20 % are extracted through an aqueous process, without solvents, and contain a high portion of genistin (gluconated genistein), the most active and bioavailable isoflavone in oral form. The breakdown of the different isoflavones is similar to that of the seed. Due to the important presence of minerals (especially potassium), soluble and insoluble fibres, proteins, the extract retains its alimentary feature.

Standard isoflavones distribution in FLAVOGIN® 10 :

• Genistin : 50 to 60%
• Daïdzin : 20 à 30%
• Genistein : 8 à 15%
• Daïdzein : 5 à 10%
• Others : 1 à 5%

FLAVOGIN® 30 % - 40 % is an hydro-alcoholic extract whose isoflavones distribution is slightly different to that of the aqueous extract, but still contains a very important proportion of genistin and daïdzin.
