TOURNAY BIOTECHNOLOGIES owns and operates state of the art equipment and can closely monitor and guarantee the quality of all production carried out.
TOURNAY BIOTECHNOLOGIES is certified by ECOCERT for organic extracts production and has obtained an ISO 22000 certification in 2007.
The sale of plant extracts dedicated to the dietary, health and cosmetic industries is undertaken directly or through distribution agreements. The company is present at major European fairs: Vitafoods and Health Ingredients Europe.

A BIT OF HISTORY
TOURNAY BIOTECHNOLOGIES is an independent company established in 1992 with the aim to produce a range of ingredients for the cosmetic industry.
In order to complete this range, TOURNAY BIOTECHNOLOGIES has initiated since 1995 a research and development program that gave birth to a range of purified vegetable extracts for the food supplement industry.
The development of new products has been carried out internally or with the help of major French public laboratories (Colleges, CNRS, INSERM...).
Due to strong success and increased production demand, TOURNAY BIOTECHNOLOGIES has moved in 2001 to larger premises (4000 sq. m. meeting highest food standards, fully equipped with climate control), located in the heart of Bordeaux’s vineyards.
The company also strongly invested in production devices, for extraction and drying, and in laboratory/Q.C. equipment.
In 2005, TOURNAY BIOTECHNOLOGIES doubled the size of its laboratory and invested in a large capacity multiple effects spray dryer, becoming one of the few companies in France and Europe being able to extract, purify and dry large quantities of product in the same location.
